Estudio Seiva is a multidisciplinary studio dedicated to translating creative projects into botanical language.
Taking place between floristry, photography and sculpture, it encompasses many mediums where flowers can operate as ways of communication and art forms, such as floral styling, botanical design and still life photography, tailored to any kind of project.
Our work supports creating concepts for brands through sculptural designs and for either private or corporate gatherings; from small events to large festivities. Our goal is to spread the use of natural materials in as many shapes as it can hold, from the ephemeral to the perpetual realms.
Milena Orlandi Founder and Creative Director
Milena Orlandi is a florist and photographer based in London. Originally from Brazil, she started her career in São Paulo in product photography, after completing a BA in graphic design and postgrad studies in Arts and Communication. After working for many years in commissioned projects in advertising, still life, fashion, cinema / TV and personal projects, she let emerge the underlying ambition of working with flowers and plants as new mediums of expression.
In São Paulo, Milena founded Estudio Seiva, a small flower studio dedicated to seasonal floral arrangements for deliveries, weekly customers and small events. Her studies in floristry started in Brazil and developed further when she moved to Spain.
In 2017, after relocating to Spain, she had the opportunity of working with and learning from many celebrated names in the floral industry, which led her to working at Madrid Flower School since its foundation. Merging her two careers, Milena worked at MFS as a photographer and contemporary floral design instructor for a period of 5 years.
Always passionate about art and immersed in the field of floral installations, in 2024 she moved to London to accomplish the lifelong wish of dedicating more time to her artistic practice and completed an MA in Fine Art - Sculpture at Camberwell College of Arts. Her will to continue studying and expanding her knowledge in many domains is what maintains Estudio Seiva’s creative aura - curious, playful and open to new possibilities.
